Richmond Heights Christian School

My name is David Frey. I have taught at RHCS for seven years. The

last six years I have taught 5th and 6th grade Math along with

Physical Education and Computer. I graduated from Malone

University in Canton, Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in Business and

Accounting. I recently earned my Master’s degree in Education from

John Carroll University. While in college I spent a semester in China

as an exchange student. I have also traveled on missions trips to

Ecuador and Mexico City. I have enjoy playing on the Christian

Assembly softball team during the summer.

What is special about 6th grade: All classes emphasize learning how

to learn. Questions are more open ended with emphasis on students

answering in their own words. We are involved in the ACSI Speech

Meet, Spelling Bee and Math Olympics. We have intramural

volleyball and basketball. We do a leaf collection, Black History

project and culminate the year with a 3 day stay at Skyview Ranch.

When 6th graders return to visit they always say they were well

prepared for junior high school.
